The Larson Group (TLG) has expanded mobile service offerings to all 17 of its full-service Peterbilt dealerships as well as what were previously parts-only locations.
As of this month, The Larson Group Peterbilt (TLG)’s mobile service program, Road Guru, is now offered at all 17 of its full-service Peterbilt dealership locations, as well as two locations that were previously categorized as parts-only. Road Guru provides around-the-clock mobile service to customers in need of various kinds of commercial truck and heavy-duty equipment service, from routine maintenance to urgent engine work. The program also works directly with TLG’s award-winning 24-hour call center and comes with several features that help maximize uptime.
The program expansion to all TLG locations comes on the heels of an impressive first-year run, which was more successful than anticipated.
Sean Westlake, Director of Mobile Service at TLG, said “When we launched this program last year, we had a very positive outlook for building a solid customer base and trust with them.”
He continued, “The demand for not just mobile service, but TLG’s mobile service, has been remarkable. I’m very pleased with the success we’ve seen across the board.”
Positive Impact at Parts-Only Locations
Road Guru has been a welcomed, valued service for customers with all-makes commercial trucks and other heavy-duty equipment since the program launched last summer at select full-service TLG dealerships. Opening the program up for TLG’s locations with a sole focus on Peterbilt parts in 2020 has already proven to be impactful.
Significantly, TLG Peterbilt of Willow Springs in Missouri, which was previously a parts-only facility, adopted mobile service earlier this year and is now hiring its third technician due to such high customer demand.
“Our locations that were previously parts-only have really taken hold of everything Road Guru stands for and run with it,” said Westlake. “I’m so impressed with our team and grateful for our customers utilizing our unique approach to traditional service.”
TLG’s Dayton, Ohio location is the last in its footprint to adopt the Road Guru program, which will be offered to commercial fleets and other customers beginning Monday, Oct. 5. This location also previously only offered parts.
