TLG Peterbilt Diesel Technician Called To Serve One-Year Tour Of Military Duty

DUNN, NORTH CAROLINA – Rahmel Peebles, a diesel technician at TLG Peterbilt in Dunn, North Carolina, was recently called to serve a one-year tour of active duty in the Army Reserve.

Rahmel enlisted in the Army in 2015 and currently holds the rank of Specialist (E-4). A Virginia native, Rahmel serves in the 3647th Maintenance Company and will be serving at Joint Forces Headquarters in Blackstone, VA.

To show appreciation and support, staff threw Rahmel a special going-away party.

“Rahmel is a pleasure to work with,” said the dealership’s general manager, Anthony Thornton. “He always has a smile on his face and you can tell that he enjoys his work and being a part of the TLG family."

Rahmel will be deployed until September 6, 2021 and plans to return to work at the Dunn dealership at that time.

Thornton added, “I am proud to have him on our team and I’m also very proud of his service to our country. We look forward to his return to his normal life, his career and his family.”

The TLG Peterbilt – Dunn staff also presented Rahmel with gifts, such as a gas card and snacks, to make his travels to Virginia a little more enjoyable. Of course, the team also provided Rahmel with some TLG and Peterbilt merchandise to help him remember his family in Dunn.
