In the wake of the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak, Glenn Larson provides insight on actions being taken for employee and customer safety within the TLG Peterbilt network.
I want to update you on what The Larson Group is doing in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), as our first priority is always the health, safety and well-being of our employees, families, and customers.
As you know, there is an abundance of information available in the news and on the web, and it is rapidly evolving. Additionally, we’re seeing organizations across our industry and beyond make a variety of business decisions in response to the outbreak.
We feel it is important to share the steps we are taking across our network to keep our employees safe. There are three main sources of information for our decision making:
- The Center for Disease Control (CDC)
- The World Health Organization (WHO)
- Local city and county government recommendations and directions
Our leadership team and I are conducting regular meetings to review the latest information and directions issued by these organizations and to direct and coordinate TLG’s response. We will continue to adjust our actions and recommendations accordingly.
Mitigating Risk To Our Employees
We have recommended our employees temporarily limit in-person meetings to only those considered business essential interactions or are time sensitive and cannot be postponed. Additional precautions include limited travel, social distancing and general safety guidelines.
Open For Business
TLG is committed to providing a variety of options for you to connect with us. Our locations are still open during regular business hours for in-person customer care and service, but our teams are also more than happy to serve you by phone, email, web chat, or text. You may visit www.tlgtrucks.com to get started.
Committed To Delivering On Our Promises
Our hearts go out to all of those who have been affected so far. We anticipate increasing impacts on our communities, but I have confidence that our leadership team will continue to follow the guidance of the CDC, WHO and local governments.
As always, we will strive to create a safe and excellent experience for your journey with TLG. Thank you for being a loyal customer. Please stay safe.
Sincerely,
Glenn Larson
